Last night I had the most amazing teppanyaki meal ever. I went with Andrew, Jordan and Steph to Act Tower (which is the city’s swanky/tallest building/hotel, and on the 31st floor we sat looking out over the city lights - while the small Japanese chef made the best meal I’ve had here so far, right in front of us. Today:
An elementary school teacher/friend took Jordan and I to a rugby game. I enjoyed seeing the kind of familiar big-rugby-man so much I almost feel bad. Reuben Thorne (ex-All Black hollahh) is the Captain of our home team.
Went to an unagi pie (that’s eel) factory. Sounds disgusting right, but the things are actually just sugary crackers…that are made from eel bones.

Things I need to consider
I need to decide. I’ve been here five months now. It has not been easy. I’d call it, amazing. Unbelievable. But the polar opposite to easy. Next Wednesday I have to meet with three of my superiors at the Board of Education armed with my decision. Stay ‘till August 2010, or leave in August this year? Leave. What once was a 65% Yes-I’m-Staying, is now a 99% Later-Chumps-I’m-Out! Or maybe 90%. I...
I really wish I didn’t hate Mondays so much. It’s a pity really.
